About the event

Fall is a season of transition, reflection, and hope in therapeutic horticulture
Join us to explore how therapeutic horticulture can help you stay active, improve your mental health, reduce the risk of cognitive decline, and support cardiovascular health. Together, we'll dig into hands-on fall-time horticulture, improve our plant care, and learn strategies for healthy aging alongside healthier plants as we plant fall flowers and make our own autumn-themed potpourri.
Find your community and enjoy a plant-filled day of therapeutic horticulture, mindful planting, and fun with like-minded plant enthusiasts! Experience the instant relaxation and rejuvenation that comes from connecting to nature and plants. Participants will have the opportunity to practice mindful plant-based sensory activities, plant fall chrysanthemums, and design & mix your own autumn potpourri.
Each ticket includes:
A chrysanthemum plant and all planting materials
Your own mix of autumn potpourri to take home
A guided therapeutic horticulture experience
A reference guide with educational materials & activity guides
A selection of teas and light bites
To ensure a therapeutic experience, spaces are limited. As food/beverages will be including, please let us know ahead of time if you have any allergies or concerns. Tickets are non-refundable. Please contact info@theplantspace.ca if you have any questions or accessibility requests.
