About the event

Summer is a season of growth, hope, and reward in therapeutic horticulture

Join us to explore how therapeutic horticulture can help you stay active, improve your mental health, reduce the risk of cognitive decline, and support cardiovascular health. Together, we'll dig into hands-on summer horticulture, improve our plant care, and learn strategies for healthy aging alongside healthier plants as we create a beautiful decorative container of annual flowers.

Find your community and enjoy a plant-filled day of therapeutic horticulture, mindful planting, and fun with like-minded plant enthusiasts! Experience the instant relaxation and rejuvenation that comes from connecting to nature and plants. Participants will have the opportunity to practice mindful plant care, choose annual flowers, and design & plant a decorative container garden perfect for patios or balconies.

Each ticket includes:

  • A container garden and all planting materials

  • Your choice of annual flowers to create your decorative planter garden

  • A guided therapeutic horticulture experience

  • A reference guide with educational materials & activity guides

  • A selection of iced teas and light bites

To ensure a therapeutic experience, spaces are limited. As food/beverages will be including, please let us know ahead of time if you have any allergies or concerns. Tickets are non-refundable. Please contact info@theplantspace.ca if you have any questions or accessibility requests.
